Frost Fine White Sapphire & Ruby Toi Et Moi Charm

Our most romantic charm, the Frost Fine Toi et Moi Charm combines two classic designs. The first is the motif based on a line from a Rosemonde Gerard poem: "Car, vois-tu, chaque jour je t'aime davantage, Aujourd’hui plus qu’hier et bien moins que demain" (For, you see, each day I love you more. Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow). In the early 1900s, a jeweler put the phrase on a medallion replacing the "more" with a diamond plus sign and the "less" with a ruby minus symbol. We reference this by combining the diamond plus sign with the ruby minus sign. The back of the charm is engraved with interlocked "Toi" and "Moi" (You and Me) putting you and your loved one together forever in a nod to the popular Toi et Moi rings which first became popular in the Georgian era and remain so today (Bonaparte even gifted one to his first wife Josephine in 1796).
